ALOHA!!!

The 21 year old is here to commerate the last day she is a 21 year old. After today, please do not remind her of her age until the year she gets married (so at least she knows she's not left on the shelf).

I really thank God. Every year I'd tell myself no one would especially celebrate my birthday anymore, the most touching/moving/tear-jerking ones would probably be my 21st. Yet year after year, the Lord has blessed me so much with many loved ones. Every year this time, I feel loved. I feel for once a year I can pracically sit there and freely receive the love people are pouring out on me, and they do not expect anything in return.

Thank you dearies, all, who have taken time off this week to have a meal with an ordinary girl like me.

PL clique: how different life would be without you all in my life. You all are far too big in number for me to thank each of you personally in this space, but I spent my teenage years growing up with you all it's hard to forget the hilarious/childish things we've done while we were still YOUNG. One day when I pass on I give you all permission to ask my grandchildren to pass you some pages of my journal! :)

Mimi and Monmon:how is it ever so coincidental that we would always be wearing matching colours when it wasn't pre-planned?? I'm so thankful I met you all cos we seldom meet! Though half the time at the Korean restaurant both of you were the ones going gaga over everything, I had a great afternoon listening to two jokers :) Just that next time we shall not enter F21 cos it's damaging to my wallet! Thanks for the treat girls :)

Cousins (who most probably wouldn't read this till weeks later): you all seriously caught me by surprise. I must be real dumb not to have suspected anything. Evi dear, thanks for planning everything till it's so flawless, from conning me to getting the cake out. Your card is like the winner of all awards this year, machiam like printed out!!!! And thanks alot for making me lug a big birthday box around, I am so touched that everything in the box is handmade that I can just laugh and cry at the same time. I promise to keep everything in the box nicely, and I'll finish the lollipops somehow :D

Yes, and to the iphone case present giver, thank you for braving the storm for your most troublesome friend lol. I will definitely fill the void with a real phone soon! A matter of time..wait for me! :)

Meeko! It's not the colour of the casing that matters at the end of the day, it's the thoughtfulness, really. Though I don't show it all the time, I always feel encouraged by your faithfulness. And we all know where our treasure will be :)

Daniel, you never fail to wish me at 12am every year even when you're overseas. I'm so guilty because sometimes I don't know much about your life abroad. But I thank you for your loyalty, so undeserving of me, but it brings such warmth to my heart. God bless you bro!!

To others who have showered me with your beautiful love in a way or another, a very sincere thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sometimes I'm not a good enough friend, I don't care enough nor go "hey love/babe, I miss you loads". But friends that I keep, I'll keep for life. If you need me, I'll be there!

Praise the Lord who has known me even before I was formed in my mother's womb. May portions of the past 22 years be a sweet offering unto You, and the next 22 years be a better offering.

P.S: May twin Jas, I hope you had a great birthday. It's become such a nice tradition to celebrate our birthdays together that if we were to stop doing it, I'd feel very weird.
